CHURCH MINISTRIES
Each of us has a special anointing and have been uniquely gifted to minister to others. We must remove ourselves and allow Christ to activate these gifts to effectively minister to His people. Wholeheartedly, we strive to focus on giving our best in all we do, not for the accolades we might receive but out of a desire to do what we do as unto Christ (Colossians 3:23).

Our Ministry of Music...
is comprised of several choirs
(Adult Choir)

New Generation Youth Choir (Youth Choir)
- Sing the 2nd Sunday of each month. Rehearsal is the Friday before the 2nd Sunday. Contact: Gloria Gordon (727) 323-1095.
Inspirational Choir (Young Adult Choir)
- Sing the 3rd Sunday of each month. Rehearsal is the Friday before the 3rd Sunday. Contact Sis. LaVerne Roberts (727) 204-6903.
Male Choir

Mass Choir

We believe that music is an integral part of the worship service. It is not entertainment, nor a diversion, but a ministry through which the Gospel message is enhanced and expressed.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
Psalm 100:3-5
The Praise and Worship Ministry leads the congregation in a corporate worship experience that glorifies God and edifies believers; work toward establishing an atmosphere conducive to the delivery of God’s Word; ministers to the heart of God and makes a general declaration of the glory of God through song.
In addition, the ministry aids and assists in the presentation of a
worship experience that ministers to the total spiritual needs of congregants; aids and assists in the facilitation of continuity of flow
in all worship services; contributes to the completion of the overall ministry vision through the utilization of spiritual gifts, and actively demonstrates excellence through continued efforts
to perfect and appropriately steward the ministry of praiseand worship to God.
This Ministry involves a variety of ministry expressions including dance, drama, mime, and other fine arts interpretative
presentations to the Glory of God. Presentations include worship services, special events, along with the annual Easter and Christmas celebrations.

our community have taken advantage of this program like never before.

This ministry was established to teach our children about Jesus Christ. Through innovative and creative methods,
children are taught biblical lessons on a level that is appropriate for them.
Our qualified and professional teaching staff has been trained to provide children ages 3-13 with safe, free,
biblical instruction during Sunday morning worship service. For enrollment information, contact the church office.
The Prayer Tower COGIC Youth Department ministry focuses on the
needs of young people ages 13-25
Through in-depth discussions regarding
Christianity, seminars, workshops, and fellowship, this ministry reaches out
to our teens at Prayer Tower COGIC and throughout the St Petersburg as well as the surrounding areas.
Please join our Youth every second Sunday during Sunday morning worship. During this service, our Youth
conducts the entire service.
LAYMEN'S MINISTRYBrothers In Christ (BIC)
Boys Club
The mission of these Men is to encourage growth in areas of self-discipline, self-assurance, leadership and love for God. The goal of the organization is to ensure that each young man is equipped with the tools to act responsibly in his family, church,
school, and community.
A group of young men who have a calling and interest in becoming leaders of their church and community, and who are seeking to understand their roles as Men of God. The Men's Department is dedicated to helping men find their purpose in Christ. By providing men with the tools, resources, and learning opportunities, the Prayer Tower COGIC Men's Department is training men to be leaders in their homes and throughout our community.

Our Women’s Ministry consists of the women’s auxiliaries,
circles,
and units. This department exists for the purpose of a specific ministry toand
from women. Its activities include the Annual Women’s Conference along with on-going
ministries that edify and enhance women intheir
quest to fulfill God’s directives for their lives.
The mission of the Christian's Women's Council (CWC) is to encourage young ladies to live life to its fullest by having good morals, budgeting principles, social graces, preparatory college skills, and the ability to make good career choices. The group avails
opportunitiesfor each participant to grow in the areas of self-discipline, self-assurance, and leadership.

SENIOR ADULT MINISTRY

2nd Saturday from 10am-12pm
At Prayer Tower COGIC, our Senior Adult Ministry Leaders encourage and support our 60 plus year members to remain active and fellowship with one another.
We respect and honor our Seasoned Saints and acknowledge their wisdom and years of service in the body of Christ.
